On this page, only basic descriptions will be given. Instructions will explain how to install it as a client. If you want a certain modification to run on a server, more needs to be done, and that is explained in our tutorial that will come shortly! For those who aren not familiar with the term “mod”, here is a brief description: “ A mod or modification is the alteration of the program code of a video game in order to make it operate in a manner different to its original version.

Antics v3

Anti cheat mod.

You can set the IRC channel to which it needs to report to and you can also choose whether to automatically ban or not, when a cheated has been dedected.

Antics v5

Anti cheat mod.

Disables a particular cheat. No option to set IRC channel or autoban, since it disables the cheat.

AntiRape

Anti baserape mod. This mod can make base assets (such as the generator or the sensor) invulnerable for damage.

You can set the minimum required amount of players, before base rape gets enabled again. It is also possible to customize which base assets should be proteced and which should not be. Furthermore, it is possible to set the time interval at which the mod checks for the amount of players.

AntiTK v1.0

Anti teamkill mod.

This mod removes players, based on their score. It can be adjusted whether people receive warning messages or not.

ByteWeb

Webadmin enhancement. This mod fixes various issues, which come along with the default webadmin.

Furthermore it allows you to set reserved slots and an option to password the game, after a certain amount of players has been reached.

Chocolate

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod allows you to set the amount of ammo the grappler has, to choose whether or not to activate vehicles and you can enable or disable degrapple (this is explained below).

Gameplay enhancement mod.

Crybaby 2

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod does a number of things: it increases disc speed, it makes you spawn as a light, it reduces grappler ammo, disables vehicles, reduces shield pack power, makes base assets invulnerable for chaingun damage, it narrows the blaster spread, buffs the energy blade and much more.

Crybaby 3

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod does the same as crybaby2, plus a few extra things, like making burner ammo based, changing all base turrets to chainguns and some more things.

Degrapple

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod fixes the big issue, where the grappling hook could not be destroyed. This mod, basically, gives the grappling hook some health points, so when it gets shot, it will break, causing the line to snap.

Installation instructions: Extract the .u file to your ..\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\ Program\Bin folder. Extract the Classes map to your ..\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\ Content folder.

Failboat

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod is very similar to Crybaby: it increases disc speed, reduces shield pack power, reduces grappler ammo, but also does some special things, like making it so that when you hit with the Energy Blade, you regain you energy and else you lose double. This mod has more features, be sure to read the accompanied readme file.

GrappleBall

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod adds a special gameclass called GrappleBall. The goal here, is to grapple a ball into a goal. Quite challenging!

Lords

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod pushes things to the extreme: it grants unlimited flight time from packs from deployable inventory stations, you can change armours at deployed inventory stations, active and passive functions of packs last longer, weapons fire faster, turns the sniper rifle into a laserpointer and changes the energy blade to a shocklance.

NoVehicles

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod makes it possible to disable vehicles. In the included .ini file, you can choose which maps should have their vehicles disabled.

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod decreases the possibility of encountering non-registered hits.

PingControl

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod allows you to set the minimum and maximum allowed latency (ping) on your server. Any player that has a ping too high or too low will be warned and eventually kicked. You can set minimum and maximum ping values and choose at which time intervals the pings are checked.

Player Name Cleaner

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod removes color tags and admin specified filter strings from the names of all connected players.

Gameplay enhancement mod.

This mod does many things. A few examples: you can set chaingun damage, pods damage, sniper damage, it converts the burner into a plasma gun, you can set disc speed, it fixes flag throwing, allowes you to disable baserape and or vehicles and much more!

Gameplay enhancement mod.

Upgrade of the previous promod. Only contains the .u file, so it can not be used for server administration. It can only be used for demo playback.

Spectator mod.

This mod allows you to “fly around freely” in a recorded demo and by doing this, you can capture spectacular shots. It does require a lot of practice, though.

Server management mod.

This mod allows you to set an enty logo, which will be displayed, when players join your server. You can configure the position, the dimensions, set how long it will be displayed and how long it takes to fade out.

Server management mod.

This mod sends information to the TribesRevengeance domain, so we can display ingame player performances on our statistics page.
